Revolutionize municipal lighting infrastructure with the SWIOTT CTNL501 pole-mounted smart street light controller.

Traditional smart street lighting systems rely on only one communication technology, which creates unavoidable limitations. Pure PLC solutions suffer severe signal interference caused by grid noise. Standalone wireless systems easily lose connection due to buildings, tunnels, trees and terrain obstacles. The result: frequent offline lamp nodes, unstable lighting control, endless on-site maintenance work and continuously rising operational costs.

Our innovative PLC + LoRaMesh dual-mode communication architecture completely solves this long-standing industry challenge.

PLC makes full use of your existing power cables to create a stable wired communication backbone. No extra cable laying required, greatly lowering construction investment. Meanwhile, LoRaMesh wireless mesh delivers wide, flexible coverage that bypasses physical barriers.

The controller automatically evaluates and selects the optimal transmission channel in real time. If one communication path fails unexpectedly, data will be instantly rerouted over the alternative network. This builds a powerful self-healing communication system and ensures nearly 100% connectivity rate for all lighting nodes across the whole network.

Designed for outdoor installation inside street lamp housings, CTNL501 adopts robust IP66 weatherproof enclosure, fully resistant to dust, rain and extreme temperatures. It supports a maximum load of 500W and works compatibly with most mainstream LED street lamps on the market. Multiple standard dimming interfaces including 0-10V, DALI and PWM are integrated to realize accurate, smooth brightness adjustment.

You can freely customize lighting schedules according to time periods, traffic volume and surrounding environmental changes. Dynamically adjust lamp brightness from 10% to 100% to slash electricity consumption, while fully guaranteeing road safety for pedestrians and vehicles.

A built-in high-precision electric energy metering module provides measurement accuracy within 2%. The controller continuously collects real-time operational data of every street light: voltage, current, active power, power factor, energy consumption and internal equipment temperature. All data synchronizes to the cloud management platform to support energy consumption analysis, statistics and data-oriented lighting strategy optimization.

Comprehensive automatic fault diagnosis is built into every unit. The controller immediately identifies common equipment abnormalities including lamp failure, overvoltage, undervoltage, open circuit, short circuit and overheating, and pushes remote alarm notifications to operation teams.

Thanks to the embedded RTC real-time clock, CTNL501 supports reliable offline fail-safe operation. When temporary cloud network disconnection occurs, pre-programmed lighting schedules continue running normally, effectively preventing large-scale lighting outages.

All CTNL501 controllers connect to the GTW730 industrial IoT edge gateway. The gateway supports dual PLC/LoRaMesh downlinks, with redundant 4G LTE and Ethernet uplinks to guarantee stable cloud access.

Operators can manage the entire lighting network remotely via web dashboard, tablet and mobile APP. Available functions cover single-lamp independent control, grouped switching control, broadcast command distribution, historical data query, log export and centralized fault alarm management.

This controller fits diverse application scenarios: urban arterial roads, highways, vehicle tunnels, industrial parks, port zones, commercial complexes and municipal parks. Certified with CE, FCC and CB, featuring >200,000 hours MTBF, wide working temperature range and official 5-year warranty. It is mature, industrial-grade hardware for global smart city lighting projects.

Break free from signal blind spots, cut energy bills and reduce field O&M workload. Build a low-carbon, intelligent, reliable urban lighting network with the SWIOTT dual-mode smart lighting control system.
